Villa College held its annual Planning Day on 27 and 28 October, bringing together academic and administrative departments to review institutional progress and prepare for the year ahead. Led by Vice Rector Dr Ali Najeeb, the two-day session focused on evaluating departmental milestones and maintaining a clear strategic direction across the institution.
During the event, teams reviewed their achievements from 2026 while examining the practical challenges faced in meeting their targets. Participants compared their initial 2027 targets with departmental work plans to ensure complete alignment with the overarching Villa College Strategic Plans. This review process provided a clear baseline for staff to construct coordinated annual work plans for 2027.
The Planning Day concluded with a summary of the College’s major accomplishments over the past year and an outline of upcoming priorities. By grounding future targets in systematic review, Villa College continues to refine its academic programmes, improve student support services, and respond effectively to the evolving needs of the wider community.
