On 31st January, Villa College had the honour of welcoming Professor Andre Droxler, Distinguished Professor Emeritus from Rice University, for an important discussion centred on climate change, sea-level rise, and the future of atoll islands. This significant event brought together expertise from across the institution, with hosting responsibilities shared among the Centre for Transformative Environmental and Marine Law, the Faculty of Shariah and Law, the Institute for Research and Innovation, the Centre for Postgraduate Studies, and the Faculty of Engineering and Technology.
