VILLA COLLEGE STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN EXCITING VILLA HAKATHA EXPOSURE TRIP TO THILAFUSHI

Villa College students attended the Villa Hakatha Exposure Trip in collaboration with Villa College Student Association on 13th July 2024 to commemorate the upcoming World Youth Skills Day. This unique educational exposure trip aimed to provide students with practical experiences and insights into industrial operations. Students from Psychology Association of Villa College and Villa College Business Society also took part in the event.


Highlights of the Trip:
Operate Machinery: Students were given the rare opportunity to operate industrial machinery, gaining hands-on experience that is invaluable for their future careers.


Fuel Process Tour: The participants were taken on an informative tour that showcased the intricate process of transporting fuel to households. This segment of the trip provided a comprehensive understanding of the logistics and safety measures involved in fuel transportation.


Educational Insights: Students received educational insights into the operations and processes on Thilafushi. Experts from various departments shared their knowledge, enhancing the students' understanding of industrial operations and management.


Unique Experience: The exposure trip offered a unique opportunity for students to witness and understand industrial operations up close. This practical experience is expected to greatly benefit their academic and professional growth.
