Villa College Staff Meeting 2025: A Celebration of Community, Achievement, and Vision
Villa College's first staff meeting of 2025, held on March 5th at the QI Campus Hall, proved to be a truly inspiring and productive event. The day brought together our dedicated faculty and staff, fostering a strong sense of community and shared commitment to excellence. The meeting began with a beautiful Quran recitation by Aishath Roshan, setting a reflective tone, and was followed by a warm welcome to the 17 new staff members who joined our ranks in January and February. We're incredibly excited to have their diverse talents and experiences enriching the Villa College family.
A key part of the meeting was Vice Rector Dr. Ali Najeeb's insightful presentation on the College's Strategic Direction, providing a clear roadmap for our growth and development in the coming year. A significant portion of the day was dedicated to recognizing the outstanding contributions of our staff. We were proud to celebrate our Employees of the Month, starting with Dr. Aishath Selna for November 2024, followed by Ahmed Fuad for December 2024. January 2025 saw a special occasion, with two deserving winners: Marie-Eve Fetting and Ruchira Perera. Congratulations to all! We also extended our congratulations to Dr. Ashlin Nimo J.R and Dr. Muhammad Ali, our newly appointed Assistant Professors at the Qasim Ibrahim School of Business. The college also celebrated the Scholarly Publications of, Muhammad Shahzeb khan, Dr Kommu Pradeep, Dr Nafeena Abdul Munaf, Saravanakumar Sengottaiyan, Dr Sivakumar Thankaraj Ambujam and Dr Lokesh Singh.
Further enriching the day, Fathimath Rasha, President of the Staff Club, shared exciting plans and activities designed to foster even greater collaboration and camaraderie among our staff. The meeting concluded on a high note with inspiring closing remarks from our esteemed Rector, Dr. Ahmed Anwar, followed by a memorable group photo, capturing the collective spirit and dedication that defines Villa College.
