Villa College signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology of Chennai, India on the 25th of October, 2024.
The MoU encompasses the exchange of academic information, materials, and publications, as well as the mobility of students and research staff. It includes collaborations on curriculum development, the organization of joint seminars, workshops, and conferences, resource sharing, co-supervision of Master’s and PhD students, staff development, and the establishment of dual and joint degree programs. Additionally, it provides technical support to enhance academic offerings.
The MoU was signed by the Vice Rector, Dr Ali Najeeb, who was accompanied by a team from Villa College, including Deputy Vice Rector, Mr Abdul Munnim Mohamed Manik, the Dean, Centre for Postgraduate Studies and Director of Future Governance Mission, Dr Ibrahim Latheef, and Mr Margret Vijay, Director for Global Ranking Data Management & Analytics and Centre for Open and Distance Learning (CODL), Dean and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Ms Aishath Mala and Dr Mano Priya Vijayan, respectively.
