VILLA COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME 2019 IS LAUNCHED

The Villa College Scholarship scheme 2019 was launched at a press conference on 21 January 2019. This scholarship scheme has been made available annually since 2016, enabling students to study for free.There are four categories under which scholarships are available.1. - Villa College Open ScholarshipsThere are three scholarships available under this category: one each at foundation level, undergraduate level and master's level. Any Maldivian who is eligible at these levels may apply for these scholarships. The selection criterial is based on those with the highest qualifications. 2. - Villa College / Villa International High School ScholarshipThere are two scholarship opportunities awarded annually to graduates from Villa International High School. The scholarships will be awarded to those who have applied and have achieved the highest grades at A level. Eligibility is limited to students who have finished A level studies within the last two years from Villa International High School. 3. - Villa College Alumni ScholarshipsThis category of scholarships is for one student each at undergraduate level and master's level. The selection criterial is be based on those who have applied with the highest qualifications. Only Villa College alumni may apply for this category of scholarship.In addition to the above, scholarship opportunities will be made available this year too, under the community engagement scholarship category, in collaboration the island or atoll campuses where Villa College campuses are based. This scholarship scheme, which is open to all eligible students including those who are already enrolled at Villa College, will be open for applications till 15 February 2019.
