Villa College Opens Admissions for May 2025 Intake

Villa College has officially launched admissions for its May 2025 intake, offering an extensive range of academic programs across multiple disciplines. The announcement came during a press conference held at the Ocean View Hall, attended by key college officials including Dr. Ali Najeeb, Vice Rector, Nizna Ali Didi, Director of Marketing, and Selina Mohamed, Registrar.


In his address, Dr. Ali Najeeb detailed the college's comprehensive academic portfolio, which includes 30 undergraduate courses, 27 Bachelor's Degree programs, 51 Diploma courses, 54 Advanced Diploma programs, 17 Graduate Diploma options, 3 Postgraduate Diploma courses, and 18 Master's degree programs.
"Our primary objective is to equip Villa College graduates with the academic knowledge, skills, and work ethic necessary to compete effectively in the global job market," stated Dr. Najeeb. "We remain committed to preparing our students to become 'global citizens' with a strong focus on contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals."


The college has integrated a dedicated "Sustainability" module into all programs, reinforcing its commitment to global development objectives. Dr. Najeeb also highlighted Villa College's technological advancements, including the implementation of augmented reality, virtual reality, and extended reality in teaching methodologies, supported by 11 specialized laboratories across various disciplines.
The May 2025 intake features programs in high-demand fields such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Teaching (with specializations in Inclusive and Special Education, Early Childhood Education, and various subjects), Business Management, Accounting, Marketing, Tourism, Psychology, Public Health, Nursing, Architecture, Law, Sharia, Marine Studies, Engineering, Interior Architecture and Design, Health Services Management, and Project Management. The Mass Communication program is available at the Master's level.


Villa College continues to strengthen its international partnerships, offering programs in collaboration with the University of Cyberjaya and Taylor's University in Malaysia. Notably, the college's engineering programs are validated by the University of Portsmouth in the UK, enabling students to transfer seamlessly to complete their degrees abroad. The Master of Clinical Psychology program is offered in partnership with Cyberjaya University, Malaysia.


Additionally, 15 programs at degree and master's levels are available through the college's collaboration with the University of the West of England. Students completing courses in Sharia and Law will be eligible to receive licenses to practice law.


During the press conference, Nizna Ali Didi, Director of Marketing, explained that the college prioritizes both academic excellence and student welfare. "Villa College's V Care Counseling and Psychotherapy Center provides comprehensive mental health support to students, while our academic support systems assist those requiring additional guidance in their studies," she noted.


Selina Mohamed, Registrar, outlined the application process, confirming that prospective students can apply online through the Villa College website or submit physical applications. "We ensure a prompt response to all applications within three to five days," she assured, emphasizing the importance of submitting complete documentation with application forms.


All Bachelor's Degree programs at Villa College are available under the Government Free Degree Scheme, making higher education more accessible. The deadline for applications for the May 2025 intake is Saturday, April 19, 2025.
