Villa College is excited to unveil two new programmes – they are the Bachelor in Political Science and International Relations and the Bachelor of Quantity Survey, both accredited at Maldives National Qualification Framework (MNQF) Level 7. The Political Science programme is available in both face-to-face and e-learning formats, while the Quantity Survey programme is offered exclusively through face-to-face instruction.
The chief guest of the event was the Speaker of Parliament, Honourable Abdul Raheem Abdulla. During the event, he emphasized that Villa College is an institution striving for excellence in education.
The Bachelor’s in Political Science and International Relations offers a thorough grounding in political science, focusing on strategic planning and diplomacy. Graduates will be equipped to excel in policy-making and international negotiations.
The Bachelor of Quantity Survey emphasizes managing financial and procurement processes in the construction industry, including legal matters. It covers essential skills such as cost estimation and tender preparation. The curriculum integrates digital construction technologies and offers practical experience through industrial projects, internships and modern simulation tools.
“The Maldives is making significant efforts to create a brighter future for its students”, the Speaker of Parliament said during his speech.
He also noted that the Rector of Villa College, Dr. Ahmed Anwar and Vice Rector Dr. Ali Najeeb have made significant strides in establishing Villa College as one of the leading educational institutions in the Maldives.
