Industry engagement - Speaker Series May 2023

We at Villa College always strive to bridge the gap between industry and academia with a fine blend of theory and knowledge where the academics deliver the theory and knowledge, the industry experts add their valuable insights to reinforce the insights.

Tonight's session was on Employability and Management Skills, where Mr. Abdulla Zubair Ahmed, Manager, Human Resources of Allied Insurance delivere an exciting presentation discussing CV’s, cover letters and personal branding. The second edutaining session was conducted by Mr. Tharaka Appuhamy, Corporate General Manager - Talent Management & Quality Management at Aitken Spence Hotels, discussing training requirements, training cycle and job market expectations. This session was presided by Rushani Lewpe Bandarage, Lecturer & Programme Manager at the Faculty of Business Management.
