On Tuesday 8th August 2023, we are thrilled to have undertaken another captivating session as part of the ongoing Industry Speaker series initiated by Faculty of Business Management.

The dynamic session titled ‘Embracing Halal Tourism’ was curated and presented by Dr. Hussain Sunny Umar, Founder of Maldives Halal Travel. Dr. Sunny's insightful narrative of his Halal Tourism journey created an engaging and immersive learning experience for the students. His presentation bridged together theory and practice of marketing, management, and tourism concepts.

This session was oragnised by FBM Senior Lecturers, Ms. Aishath Thashkeel and Ms. Nuzha Nizam for their students, as part of learning experience to understand industry and practical application of concepts/models taught under their respective modules, Customer and International Market Analysis for MBA and Strategic Human Resource Development students studying from the University of the West of England’s Masters of Business Management and BA (Hons) Business and Human Resource Management from villa college attended this session.
