VILLA COLLEGE HOLDS 1ST MULTICULTURAL NIGHT OF 2019

Multicultural Night is one of the assessment tasks in English Proficiency One module. This event provides students with the opportunity to learn about various aspects of different cultures. The main aim of this event is to enhance research and presentations skills amongst students. This years' event was held on 11th April 2019, Thursday. During the module the students were grouped and given a country to represent. For the event, students designed a stall representing their country and were dressed traditionally. They also presented other features of the culture through traditional food, dances, songs, arts and many activities that represent the uniqueness of various cultures. As one the most exciting academic events of the semester, this event encourages students to learn beyond the four walls of the classroom and facilitates students to hone soft skills such as communication, leadership and teamwork.
