In a remarkable testament to Villa College's academic prowess, Mr. Amish Abdullah lecturer from the Faculty of Shariah and Law, was accorded the prestigious role of Presiding Arbitrator at the 16th Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot CIETAC Chinese (Mainland) National Rounds. This distinguished event took place in the vibrant city of Beijing, China in a hybrid format, showcasing the global recognition and expertise Villa College brings to the forefront of legal education.
The panel of arbitrators, meticulously selected for their expertise and experience, epitomized the international scope of the competition. Alongside Mr. Abdullah, the panel featured Ms. Amaka Gold Elom, Deputy Director at the Federal Ministry of Justice in Nigeria, and Advocate Andrej Žerjal from Italy. Their collective knowledge and insights promised a rigorous and insightful evaluation of the moot hearing proceedings.
