VILLA COLLEGE, AUBURN UNIVERSITY, AND VILLA FOUNDATION COLLABORATE FOR HEALTH OUTREACH PROGRAMME

In a collaborative effort aimed at promoting community health and well-being, Villa College, alongside Auburn University and the Villa Foundation, conducted a three-day health outreach program across various locations including K.Hura, Thulusdhoo, and Himmafushi.


The comprehensive outreach program encompassed a range of health assessments and educational sessions designed to empower participants with valuable insights into their health status and lifestyle choices. Activities included the measurement of blood pressure, cholesterol levels, blood glucose monitoring, body mass index (BMI) assessments, and informative sessions on lifestyle modification, nutrition, and disease prevention.
