UWE - VC GRADUATION 2019

The UWE - VC Graduation 2019 was held on 16th November 2019, Saturday in Dharubaaruge.A total of 345 students graduated from undergraduate and postgraduate programmes from the University of the West of England. Addressing the gathering in the welcoming remarks, Rector of Villa College, Dr. Ahmed Anwar highlighted that the College is constantly reviewing processes to ensure that the graduates are ready to meet the challenges they will face in the real world. The Vice-Chancellor of UWE Bristol, Professor Steve West and Associate Dean - Strategic Partnerships, Dr. Fiona Jordan were also in attendance for this auspicious occasion. Vice-Chancellor of UWE Bristol, Professor Steve West advised the graduates to believe in their abilities, to be wise and using their skills and knowledge to make the world a better place than before, in his welcoming remarks.After the conferment of degrees, graduates who achieved the Villa College Book Prize, the College Medal and Qasim Ibrahim Award for Excellence were given certificates and prizes. The Villa College Book Prize was awarded to 35 students from 10 different programmes.
