Villa College and Ombudsperson's Office for Transitional Justice (OTJ) signs a MoU today (09th September 2021, Thursday), to promote cooperation in diverse areas of research, knowledge dissemination, training, and capacity development. Under this MoU, both the parties will be collaborating to conduct various national research in transitional justice. Moreover, this MoU enables the dissemination of research findings by OTJ in the International Journal for Social Research and Innovation (IJSRI) and the Research Digest of Villa College, with the provision of different avenues within Villa College in order to promote and create awareness about the work carried out by OTJ. This MoU further provides the opportunities for joint consultancy projects in transitional justice. Furthermore, this will facilitate the provision of corporate and research training for OTJ members by Villa College, while collaborating in training and research assistance on a cost or reciprocal basis. This MoU was signed by Rector, Dr. Ahmed Anwar from Villa College and by Chief Ombudsperson, Uz. Abdul Salaam Arif from the Ombudsperson's Office for Transitional Justice. This MoU is an initiative of the Institute for Research and Innovation of Villa College, that can benefit the country in the future.
