Villa College's Industry Engagement Speaker Series continued to provide students with valuable insights into the world of business on Wednesday, March 8, 2023. The latest session was conducted by Mohamed Migdhaad, HR Executive of Minor Foods, who shared his expertise on the topic of 'Strategic issues in managing people'.
The session was attended by students from the UWE Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Business and Human Resource Management programme at both the QI and Hithadhoo campuses. Using a blended format, the students were able to participate in the session both in-person and online, making the event accessible to everyone.
As an alumnus of the UWE Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Business and Human Resource Management programme, Mohamed Migdhaad was able to provide unique insights from his own career experiences. He was also a recipient of three awards from Villa College, making him an ideal candidate to lead the session.
This was the second time that Mohamed Migdhaad had conducted a session for the Industry Engagement Speaker Series, and it was once again well-received by all those who attended. The session provided valuable information for students looking to pursue careers in human resources or business management and demonstrated Villa College's commitment to providing its students with the best opportunities for success.
