Exploring Psychiatric Injury under Torts: Villa College and UWE Bristol's Collaborative Expert Lecture

Villa College's Faculty of Shariah and Law, in collaboration with the University of the West of England (UWE) Bristol, recently organized an enlightening expert lecture focused on 'Psychiatric Injury under Torts' as part of their prestigious Law Lecture series. The event, which took place on 11th March 2024, featured distinguished facilitators Ms. Shilan Shah Davis, Director (Academic) Faculty of Business and Law at UWE Bristol, UK, and Mr. Amish Abdullah, Lecturer at Villa College's Faculty of Shariah and Law.


The interactive lecture drew a diverse audience, including graduate, postgraduate students, and alumni from various programs such as LLB, BSL, MSL, and LLM. Attendees were treated to a comprehensive exploration of the intricate legal aspects surrounding psychiatric injury within tort law, delivered by experts with extensive knowledge and practical experience in the field.
