On the 17th of October 2022, Villa College celebrated their 15th anniversary in a fun and exciting ceremony at the Villa College QI Hall. The ceremony began with the recitation of Quran followed by a minute of silence for one of our beloved staff who recently passed away, Mr. Ahmed Ibrahim, Senior Manager, Faculty of Business Management.

After an introduction of the ceremony by the MC, Dr Ahmed Anwar, Rector of Villa College gave the welcome remarks to kick off the ceremony. Followed by his speech, a video presentation of the Villa College Diamonds was shown before the awards and certificates were presented to the winners of the VC Diamond Awards by the Rector, Dr Ahmed Anwar. Similarly, a video presentation of the Villa College Staff Excellence Awards was shown before the awards were presented to the winners by the Vice Rector Dr Ali Najeeb.

Next, the Employee of the Year Award winners and its nominees were presented their certificates by Abdul Munnim Mohamed Manik, Deputy Vice Rector. Followed by the presenting of certificate of recognition for long serving employees of Villa College and for long serving visiting lecturers of Villa College. Lastly the winners of the Villa College Staff Club organized activities were presented with prizes by Ms Hidhaya Mohamed Zahir, President of VCSC.

Afterwards, an appreciation/celebration and fun video by Villa College staff was shown followed by the official publishing of the VC Policy Gazette, Volume 3, Issue 1 by the Vice Rector Dr Ali Najeeb followed by a message of appreciation.

The ceremony came to an end with the 15th anniversary cake cutting celebration, and a group photo session. The staff were treated to a staff talent show while they enjoyed Dinner.
