Master of Shariah

On completion of the program students would be able to:

  • Acquire the knowledge that generates  critical awareness of the latest  and current concepts, issues, principles, theories  and practices of Shariah and Islamic studies;
  • Apply analytical   and  creative thinking skills  to advance the practice of  the  knowledge that are associated  with  the discipline of Shariah and Islamic studies;
  • Demonstrate  initiative, creativity  and  innovation  to employ the knowledge, expertise  and technology for dealing with complex issues and making informed decision  in the arena  of Shariah and Islamic studies 
  • Create inquiries for  drawing a  critical reflection  for  the practice of Shariah knowledge and Islamic studies 
  • Demonstrate advanced and specialized skills to develop original and creative responses  for academic and professional practices that are associated   with the discipline of Shariah and Islamic studies; 
  • perform their religious rituals according to Quran and Sunnah, and will be able to lead a life of a practicing Muslim 
  • Research on contemporary issues and argue rationally on religious affairs 
  • Understand and effectively deal with Muslim personnel legal affairs 
  • Entry Requirement 
    • Bachelors degree in relevant field OR
    • A relevant qualification that establishes equivalency as a Bachelors degree in an relevant field OR
    • Any relevant qualification that meets MQA matured entry requirement for a Master degree program
  • Duration5 Trimesters
  • Intake January / May / September
  • Tuition Fee  Mrf 70,000 Payable in Installments
  • MNQF Accredited Level Level 9
