Emergency First Response

At the Faculty of Marine Studies, we are dedicated to providing CPR, AED and first aid training to meet workplace requirements for companies. Our training programs are widely recognized and have been specifically designed to comply with workplace requirements.

Villa College specializes in teaching mature learners and we understand that adults require different teaching methods in order to master and retain information effectively. Participant materials are designed with an independent‐study component which develops foundational information and allows the instructor to focus time on skill practice rather than lectures. This reduces classroom time while increasing skill retention. This model is proven to inspire confidence to provide care when a medical emergency arises.

We understand that time away from the job is costly to both you and your staff. Our Emergency First Response program delivery methods minimize the amount of time in the classroom and away from the job. The training package is designed to maximize the benefits to your company while at the same time comply with the rigorous training standards of Villa College and our Professional Partner, EFR Corporation.

This program will see your staff trained from Beginner to Instructor level in 6 short days. In addition to this, our exciting team building activities instil leadership skills, improve problem‐solving skills and enhance teamwork in an adventurous outdoor setting.
